Professor Jiang Hong is division chief and professor of the Division for Development of Liberal Arts at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is also vice chairman of the Shanghai Society of Science and Technology Dissemination, a council member of the Shanghai Association of Journalists, as well as a member of the Shanghai Expert Board for Vocational Training(Media and Design). In addition he is the vice chairman of the CSSCI Journal Journalists and a special editor for CSSCI Journal Journalism.

His previous appointments include professor and executive dean of the School of Media and Design at Shanghai Jiao Tong University; and vice professor of the Department of Public Relations at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

He has taught at both Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Department of Textile Chemistry China Textile Engineering University.

He studied for his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Textile Chemistry at China Textile Engineering University and his master’s degree from the Department of Social Sciences and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University
