Mattheus J. Coetzee is the Head: eMEdia Design & Development in the Department Teaching and Learning with Technology at the Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa.

He is currently a PhD student at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen with a focus on Motivation and Self-Regulated learning.

His professional interests include the use of technology to support social constructivist learning, authentic learning and collaborative learning in an outcomes-based teaching and learning environment.

Mr Coetzee’s academic background in Engineering, has led to his continuing research in educational technology, by integrating Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning environments.
