Mrs Antoinette Lombard was born in Vereeniging, Gauteng in South Africa. After completing school studies, she enrolled at the then called Vaal Triangle Technicon to complete a diploma Financial Information Systems in 1994.
She continued her studies and completed her Baccalaurees Technologia Information Technologia (BTech) Financial Information Systems and Magister Technologia (MTech) Information Technology in 2006.
She is currently the Head of Department of the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Department at the Vaal University of Technology situated in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa. She is a board member of HEICTA (Higher Education Information & Communication Technology Association) of South Africa and an active member of various SATN committees. She is also involved in Curriculum Development, Teaching and Learning Technologies and Quality Management.
